Franken FiSO2

The Franken FiSO2 is designed to provide electrical isolation between two line-level equipments, e.g. between two mixing consoles, between a guitar multi effect and mixing console, etc.

Franken FiSO2 uses two unique high-quality transformers to prevent any voltage spikes that can interfere with the audio circuitry and damage your equipment, and also avoid hissing, humming and buzzing noises from ground loop problems with the ground lift switch.

USING THE FiSO2

Make sure the sound system is turned off and all levels are set to zero before making audio connections. This will avoid any pops in the sound system that could cause damage to speakers.

The FiSO2 is completely passive and does not require a power supply of any kind. Connect the source device to the FiSO2 inputs. Connect the FiSO2 outputs to the destination device. Turn the system up slowly and listen for noise. In the unlikely event you should encounter noise, simply depress the ground lift switch.
